BELLA

Species: Blue Fronted Amazon

Age:  ~2 years

Gender: Female

Personality: Chatty entertainer and also a great listener

About: Meet Bella – a stunning two-year-old Blue-fronted Amazon who has grown up as a true member of the family. She’s social, observant, and loves being involved in the day-to-day rhythm of a busy household. Coming from a home with a stay-at-home mum and daughter, Bella is used to plenty of company and thrives when she can be close to her flock.

She’s confident stepping onto hands and sitting on shoulders, happily joining you as you move around the home. While she’s not a cuddler, Bella is incredibly engaging — a great listener, an enthusiastic talker, and a quick learner who picks up new words with ease. One of her favourite phrases is a cheerful “Hello Bella!”

Bella enjoys time outdoors and loves a refreshing mist bath from the hose on a warm day.

Her current diet is primarily seed and nuts, and she isn’t a fan of fruits or vegetables, so her new family who can gradually encourage a healthier, Amazon-appropriate diet will be ideal. As a young Amazon, she’ll benefit from mental stimulation, routine, and clear boundaries from someone experienced with larger parrots.

Bella’s family is heartbroken to rehome her, but due to a move, they are unable to take animals with them. They’re hoping to find her a home where she’ll continue to be loved, included, and engaged every single day.

Bella will suit an active, experienced home with plenty of interaction and an indoor/outdoor lifestyle.

ALEX

Species: Alexandrine Parrot

Age:  Unknown

Gender: Male

Personality: Reserved and shy but also curious

About: Meet Alex – a striking and intelligent parrot looking for a dedicated home that understands the needs of this larger parrot species. This bird has a gentle nature and shows clear signs of previous handling, but still benefits from calm, confident interaction as trust builds.

Alexandrines thrive on regular flight time, mental enrichment, and a varied diet to support their active, curious temperament. A spacious aviary is important, giving room to climb, explore, and maintain strong flight muscles.

Alex, once warmed up, enjoys social engagement, often seeking attention through soft vocalisations, playful behaviour, and relaxed perching near trusted people. With consistency, they can become affectionate companions who enjoy close interaction.

If you can provide the time, space, and stability required for such a highly intelligent bird, Alex may be an excellent fit for your home.

OPAL

Species: Budgie

Age:  Unknown

Gender: Female

Personality: Playful and charming

About: Meet Opal – a delightful female budgie of an indeterminate age (because, of course, it’s very impolite to ask a lady her age!). She is full of curiosity, energy, and personality, and she loves exploring her toys, hiding under her blanket, and discovering new nooks and crannies in her environment. Despite still regrowing her tail feathers following a recent bird attack, Opal hasn’t let that slow her down, she’s resilient, spirited, and eager for adventure.

Opal thrives when she has space to move freely, explore, and stretch her wings. She enjoys playtime with her favourite toys, interacting with her human friends, and watching the world go by from her perch. She would also benefit from the company of other friendly birds, giving her the opportunity to socialise and engage in natural behaviours like chatter, preening, and gentle games.

A healthy, balanced diet and regular enrichment are important for Opal to flourish. She responds beautifully to gentle interaction, and with consistent love and attention, she will grow even more confident and affectionate. This little budgie is looking for a home where she can feel safe, loved, and included in daily life, a place full of care, play, companionship, and opportunities to spread her wings both physically and emotionally.

Could you be the special person to give Opal the joyful, nurturing home she deserves?

PEACHY

Species: Cockatiel

Age:  Unknown

Gender: Female

Personality: Gentle and curious

About: Meet Peachy – a sweet and brave little cockatiel who is ready to find a loving, patient home. She would thrive with another bird companion to help her feel safe, confident, and social.

She’s slowly learning to trust people and is incredibly affectionate once she feels comfortable. Peachy enjoys gentle pats and will happily accept a sunflower seed as a treat. She’s fascinated by other birds and loves “chatting” to them, so a cockatiel friend could be the perfect partner to help her blossom and build her confidence.

Peachy’s feathers are regrowing beautifully following an incident, and her curious, playful personality shines through. She has lots of potential to become a delightful, chatty companion in a calm, understanding home.

A home with plenty of space to fly, opportunities for playtime, companionship, and a healthy, balanced diet will help Peachy thrive. She’s looking for a patient, bird-savvy family who can give her the time, love, and attention she deserves.

Could you be the special person to give Peachy a safe, happy, and nurturing home?

MARSHMELLOW

Species: Sulphur-crested Cockatoo

Age:  ~6 years

Gender: Male (suspected but not confirmed)

Personality: Friendly, smart and full of character

About: Meet Marshmallow – a six-year-old sulphur-crested cockatoo who adores human interaction and has a whole lot of character. He’s a talker, a dancer, and a very quick learner who thrives on stimulation and companionship.

Affectionate and playful, Marshmallow is strongly bonded to his mum and loves cuddles and one-on-one time. He enjoys playing whistling games with his dad, though he’s a little more selective with his affection. Like many cockatoos, Marshmallow can get cranky when he’s feeling left out or seeking attention, so he’ll suit someone familiar with the loving (and sometimes demanding) nature of this species.

Marshmallow currently lives in a large outdoor aviary and spends afternoons and evenings inside on his perch. He’s used to a routine of morning and evening feeds, with a diet of parrot seed, sunflower seeds, and the occasional pine cone nut, one of his favourite treats.

He doesn’t like a lot of noise, so a calm, experienced home where he can enjoy regular company and gentle attention would be ideal. His current family is heartbroken to let him go, but due to noise sensitivities in the neighbourhood, they’re hoping to find him a new home where he can be his wonderful, expressive self without stress.

Marshmallow will come with his large cage (used occasionally), an indoor stand, and tray.

ESME & ERROL

Species: Parrotlet

Age:  ~3.5 years

Gender: Female and Male

Personality: Sweethearts

About: Meet Esme (blue) and Errol (rare green) – a delightful pair of parrotlets whose bond and personalities will melt your heart. Small but full of spirit, they share a beautiful friendship, part affection, part comedy duo, and bring endless joy to those around them.

Errol is a gentle sweetheart who loves to be close to his people and would happily spend the day perched on your shoulder if Esme didn’t insist on keeping him in line. Esme, bold and full of character, is the first to seek attention and never shy to express herself. Despite her sass, she’s affectionate and curious and incredibly endearing once you get to know her.

They adore spending time with their humans, often flying over to see what’s going on, whether you’re working, cooking, or relaxing. In the evenings, they love to snuggle together and have been known to fall asleep tucked inside a comfy T-shirt (preferably an old one, as they love to nibble holes!).

Their gentle chirps and playful chatter fill the home with life, and though they have the occasional squabble, it’s all part of their charm. Esme enjoys her baths, while Errol is still figuring out the technique. They love their fresh foods, especially chillies, capsicum seeds, passionfruit, and walnuts, and are happiest when they can fly, explore, and be included in daily life.

Esme and Errol would suit an experienced bird lover who understands parrotlets’ lively, intelligent nature and can offer them time, attention, and a safe indoor space to explore. They’re perfect companions for someone who works from home and would love a cheerful pair of feathered friends by their side.

SAMMY

Species: Sulphur-crested Cockatoo

Age:  16 years

Gender: Female

Personality: Big personality & Selective

About: Meet Sammy – a 16-year-old female Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo with a big personality and plenty of character. She’s been in care for some time and is now looking for a stable, long-term home with someone who understands the unique needs of cockatoos.

Sammy can be selective with people but bonds deeply once trust is established. She steps up, takes treats from the hand, and loves pistachios and sunflower seeds (best kept for training rewards!). She has learnt to return to her cage after time out playing, and really enjoys snuggling in blankets and soft materials. She needs a confident, patient handler.

She enjoys spending her days in a large indoor aviary with a mix of indoor and outdoor time. She’s in good health, with no known issues.

Sammy would best suit an experienced owner and a single-bird household where she can have space, structure, and the care she deserves. With the right person, she’ll be a loyal and loving companion who thrives on attention and being part of daily life.

JACK

Species: Sulphur-crested Cockatoo

Age: Approx. 35-40 years

Gender: Male

Personality:  Sociable & Chatty

About: Meet Jack – a charming sulphur-crested cockatoo, estimated to be around 35–40 years old, who is looking for a new home due to a change in circumstances.

He’s a sociable and friendly boy who loves to chat and mimic sounds, and like most cockatoos, he enjoys having something to chew—wood, bark, or other safe materials keep him happily occupied. Jack thrives on interaction and being part of the action, but he’ll need an experienced sulphur-crested cockatoo owner who understands the breed’s intelligence, energy, and strong personality.

He enjoys a diet of large parrot seed mix, along with fresh fruit and vegetables. An aviary set-up with plenty of space would be ideal for him, along with a home where he’ll be loved, understood, and given the attention he deserves.

CHARLIE

Species: Galah

Age: Approx. 9 years

Gender: Female

Personality:  Sweet, shy and gentle

About: Meet Charlie – a 9-year-old female Galah with soft pink and grey feathers and a gentle, affectionate nature. She’s been feeling a little lonely since losing her long-time partner to old age and would love to find a home where she can enjoy the company of another feathered friend.

Charlie is friendly but can be shy at times, and she enjoys interacting with people, other birds, and the world around her. Whilst she doesn’t fly, she needs plenty of space and free time within a secure aviary environment.

She’s looking for an experienced home with someone who understands the unique needs of Galahs — their social nature, their need for mental stimulation, and their love of being part of daily life. Her diet includes seed, grass, and treats, and she’s in good overall health with no known issues.

If you can offer Charlie the understanding, care, and companionship she’s been missing, she’ll reward you with her sweet presence and gentle spirit.

LILLY & PETE

Species: Green-cheeked Conure

Age: Approx. 1 year

Gender: Male & Female

Personality:  Sweet, shy and building confidence

About: Meet Lilly and Pete – a bonded pair of young Green Cheek Conures, both around 1 year old. They have been together for the past three months and have formed a strong bond, so they will only be adopted as a pair.

This sweet duo is shy and still building confidence. Pete, the male, is braver and will happily fly to you and eat out of your hand, although he isn’t keen on being touched. Lilly is more timid and takes her time to warm up. Together they bring a lovely balance of curiosity and caution.

They enjoy a diet of good small parrot food, fruit, and vegetables, with apples and corn being particular favourites. Both love water and will happily take a bath. Their carer brings their cage outside on nice days so they can enjoy fresh air and sunshine, which they thoroughly enjoy. When indoors, they like having regular out-of-cage time to stretch their wings and play, and they’re good about returning to their cage on their own (though food bribery always works if needed).

Lilly and Pete would suit a quieter home with an experienced owner who understands conures and their needs. An aviary or indoor/outdoor setup where they have space to fly and explore would be ideal. With time, patience, and consistency, this pair has the potential to grow in confidence and continue to thrive.

KIKI

Species: Eclectus

Age: Approx. 5 years old

Gender: Female

Personality:  Full of personality and a real food connoisseur

About: Meet Kiki – a stunning female Eclectus, soon to celebrate her 5th birthday in November. Full of personality with just the right touch of sass, she’s ready to find a home that can keep up with her needs and quirks.

Friendly and social, Kiki enjoys sitting on a shoulder and will sometimes lean in for a neck scratch. She loves water, showers, and basking in the sunshine. Food is her true passion (the way to her heart is definitely through her stomach) and she has a reputation as a little “soup chef” when it comes to her meals.

Kiki can fly and she occasionally talks, though she’s more known for her opinions than her words. She has a unique right foot with a few missing toes, so she requires adaptable perching and a feeding platform, but this doesn’t hold her back from getting around confidently.

Her current owner loves her dearly, but recognises that Kiki’s needs have outgrown what they can provide. Kiki would thrive in a home with other birds and would especially enjoy the company of a male Eclectus to bond with. She needs an experienced carer who understands parrots and Eclectus, with the time, enrichment, and resources to ensure she continues to flourish.

An aviary set-up would be ideal, and her feeding platform can be provided as part of her rehome. A small outdoor aviary may also be available if helpful.

QUAILS

Species: Quails x6

Age: Approx. 6 months old

Gender: Males

Personality:  Gorgeous flock of quails

About: We have 13 sweet 15-week-old Japanese quails looking for new homes. They’re young, full of personality, and would thrive in the right environment.

At the moment, they’re with a temporary carer, but this isn’t a long-term solution, so we’re hoping to find them permanent homes as soon as possible. They’ll do best when paired with females, and being so young, there’s plenty of potential for them to become more tame with regular handling.

If you can offer a safe and caring home, please get in touch – we’d love to see these little ones find their forever places.

PEPPER & PEARL

Species: Cockatiel

Age: Unknown

Gender: Unknown

Personality:  Two peas in a pod

About: Meet Pepper and Pearl – Gorgeous pair of bonded cockatiels, ready to find their forever home together.

Pepper & Pearl are deeply bonded and do everything side by side, eating, preening, playing, and perching. They love to sing and chatter, filling the space around them with gentle, cheerful sounds.

Their companionship is sweet to watch, and their harmony extends to their daily routines.

They would suit a home with a spacious large cage they can share, or an aviary-style setup that allows room to stretch their wings and take in the sights and sounds of the day.

These two are not hand-tame but are calm-natured and a joy to be around. They thrive with gentle care and would make a lovely addition to a peaceful and patient home.

SIGMA

Species: Galah

Age: Unknown

Gender: Unknown

Personality: Semi-tame

About: Meet Sigma, a wonderful rescue galah who has formed a strong bond during his (we think) time in care. Sigma is semi-tame and previously domesticated, but still needs a patient and experienced owner who understands the unique needs of galahs.

Sigma thrives with plenty of flight time, mental stimulation, and enrichment to stay happy and healthy. A large flight aviary is essential, giving him space to stretch his wings and explore safely.

Sigma is affectionate in his own way, enjoying pats, gentle kisses, and perching on shoulders while watching the world around him.

If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this beautiful bird, and have the time, space, and experience to meet his needs, Sigma could be the perfect addition to your family.

JACKIE & OLLIE

Species: Green-Cheeked Conure

Age: 12

Gender: Male and Female

Personality: Bonded Duo

About: Jackie and Ollie are a loving, 12-year-old pair of Green-Cheeked Conures who are looking for their forever home. They are a bonded couple, and it’s essential that they stay together as they share a deep connection.

Both birds are friendly and hand-raised, so they enjoy spending time with people and will fly onto your shoulder to relax with you. They are not yet accustomed to stepping up, but with patience and trust, they will learn to feel more comfortable over time.

Jackie is full of personality and loves to dance, although she’s not a fan of head scratches (she may warm up to them with time). Ollie is a bit more relaxed and enjoys a good scratch when wrapped in a towel, though he isn’t much of a mimic.

One thing that’s important to note is that both Jackie and Ollie need the freedom to fly within a room. They previously had daily flight time outside their cage, which helped them thrive. Without this space, Ollie has started chewing his feathers due to stress, but with the chance to fly again, he should regain his feathers after his next molt.

They are both vocal but not overly noisy, with cute chirps when it’s bedtime. Jackie and Ollie love their morning routine, enjoying fresh fruit and veggies, along with an almond or pecan to start the day. They also love grooming each other and can often be found cuddling up together.

Jackie laid an egg in December 2024, so she requires calcium supplements to maintain her health.

These two are looking for a home where they can have plenty of open cage time, free flight, and a patient owner who can continue building their trust. They are a delightful pair with so much love to give, and we know they’ll make wonderful companions.

If you’re ready to open your home to Jackie and Ollie, we’d love to hear from you!

BONITA & RIO

Species: Lovebirds

Age: Unknown

Gender: Female & Male (suspected)

Personality: Two peas in a pod

About: Rio and Bonita are two lovebirds that are inseparable! Their close bond is evident in everything they do, from exploring new spaces together to cuddling up for a rest. These playful cuties enjoy flying and would thrive in a home where they have plenty of space to spread their wings – ideally, some indoor flight time each day, in addition to a spacious cage.

While they adore each other, Rio and Bonita are also comfortable around familiar people and may even land on your head when they’re feeling social! With more interaction, patience, and gentle contact, this bond with humans could grow even stronger. Having previously been office companions, they may be a great match for someone who spends time working from home and is looking for some feathered friends to keep them company.

As with many lovebirds, Rio and Bonita will nest, so they will need a home where their nesting instincts can be managed, such as using egg replacement when they’re in season. If you think you can offer Bonita & Rio a happy home where they can live together, we’d love to hear from you!
