PHINN

Species: Supher-Crested Cockatoo
Age: Unknown (>3 yrs)
Gender: Unknown
Personality: Talkative and friendly – looking for a human companion!

About: Phinn is a sulphur-crested cockatoo with a friendly nature who’s searching for a new home. He enjoys interaction and would make a great companion for someone who can spend time bonding with him. Phinn is curious and talkative, bringing a touch of liveliness to any household. Having been around adults for most of his life, Phinn can be selective about who he connects with, which is typical for his breed. However, once he feels comfortable, he’s loyal and affectionate. Phinn would benefit from a home where he receives plenty of mental stimulation and physical activity, like toys and interactive playtime, to keep him content and healthy. He would thrive in a home where he’s considered an important part of the family. Could Phinn be the companion you’ve been looking for?

About: Meet our young feathered friend, a 7-month-old male cockatiel looking for a loving home. As a rescue bird, he hasn’t yet been tamed, but he has great potential to thrive, especially with the companionship of another bird. Cockatiels are known for their friendly and social nature, and with patience and care, this little guy could become a wonderful companion. If you’re interested in adopting him or giving him a buddy to bond with, we’d love to hear from you! He would do best in a home where he can be nurtured with gentle attention.

BUDDY, ANGEL & SPOT

Species: Rainbow Lorikeet
Age: Unknown
Gender: Unknown
Personality: Chirpy Trio

About: Applications are now open for Buddy, Angel and Spot, three delightful rescue rainbow lorikeets affectionately known as the Chirpy Trio. Each with own unique personality – Buddy loves scratches and will tilt his head to ensure you get every angle possible. Angel and Spot is are gentle, inquisitive birds who love to explore their surroundings. The three of them together provide a perfect bird watching experience and with their favourite snacks on hand, will provide you with a hands on interactive experience. These cheerful birds are looking for a special forever home where they can thrive together. Due to a some medical considerations, the trio would need to be in a ‘single bird’ household (together). They love native plants, preening, and playing together, and would be best suited to an aviary where they can move freely and enjoy their surroundings, with plenty of climbing equipment. They are rescue birds who have shown remarkable resilience and are ready for a second chance at life with someone who can provide the care and love they deserve. If you have the space and heart to offer these lovely rainbow lorikeets a new beginning, please consider welcoming the Chirpy Trio into your home.

PHOEBE

Species: Cockatiel
Age: Approx. 1 year
Gender: Female
Personality: Chatterbox who needs extra TLC

About: We are now accepting applications for Phoebe, an adorable female cockatiel who needs an extra special person with a big heart to care for her. Phoebe is a charming cinnamon pearl cockatiel with unique needs. Unfortunately, her growth has been stunted due to rickets (a condition caused by a deficiency of vitamin D, calcium, or phosphate), and she has wonky legs and feet, requiring slanted perches and ladders as physiotherapy to help stretch and mobilise them. Additionally, she has damage to her wings, and her future flying capability is uncertain. Despite these challenges, Phoebe is a small and spirited bird, weighing just 71g. She is a typical female cockatiel and an absolute chatterbox. Phoebe will step up but is still a bit hand shy. She loves sitting on shoulders and beak grinding in your ear, making her a charming companion. Phoebe has been under the care of an experienced vet, and notes and further information can be shared with interested parties. Phoebe is looking for a forever home where she can receive the love and care she deserves. If you have the compassion and dedication to provide for her special needs, please consider adopting this wonderful feathered friend.

PICKLES & ZORRO

Species:  Musk Lorikeet
Age: Unknown
Gender: Unknown
Personality: Delightful and a little shy until they become familiar

About: Applications are now open for two delightful rescue musk lorikeets, Zorro and Pickles. These two characters, once warmed up to your household environment, will provide you with entertainment as you sit back with your morning coffee and watch them play around in their enclosure. These happy birds have been in our care for some time and are now looking for a loving new home where they can thrive. Both Zorro and Pickles are unable to fly, so they will need a large cage where they can move freely but not an aviary. They would be best suited to a ‘single bird’ household where they can receive the attention and care they deserve. Zorro is a charming and curious lorikeet who loves to explore his surroundings. He enjoys interacting with people and has a playful nature. Pickles, is more laid-back and enjoys a balance of quiet moments and playfulness when prompted by his companion, Zorro. Together, they make a wonderful pair, each bringing their unique character and joy to their environment. If you have the space and heart to offer these lovely musk lorikeets a new beginning, please consider welcoming Zorro and Pickles into your home.

COOKIE

A sulphur-crested cockatoo is sitting on it's perch with it's white feathers fluffed up and has it's head tilted to the right.

Species: Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo

Age: Senior

Gender: Unknown

Personality: Reserved but affectionate older soul

About: Meet Cookie! 🍪☕
Applications are now open for Cookie, an older Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo. This feathered friend loves one-on-one time and needs a home where he doesn’t have to compete with other birds.
Cookie has been vet-checked and appears to be in good condition, though he does have a cataract limiting his vision in one eye. He would be best suited for someone familiar with larger birds who can give him the love and care he deserves. As a rescue bird, we don’t know his history with different types of people (i.e. solo, couples, families) so this will need to be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Cookie is looking for his forever home. Could it be with you?

MISTY & ARCHIE

Species: Corella

Age: Unknown

Gender: Unknown

Personality: They both enjoy each other’s company and like to be left in peace

About: This pair of stunning Corellas have come into care as rescue birds and are now looking for a new home. They are aviary birds and, unfortunately, cannot be released into the wild. Instead, they need a large, spacious aviary where they can live comfortably and enjoy each other’s company. These Corellas have formed a strong bond, often seen interacting closely with one another. While they thrive in each other’s presence, they are not particularly interested in human interaction. They would be best suited to a home where they can be appreciated from afar. If you think you can provide these beautiful birds with the home they need, please reach out to us!

RUSSELL

A close up picture of one side of a bright pink galah's face. The galah is looking at the camera, and it's light pink crest it standing up.

Species: Galah

Age: Senior

Gender: Unknown

Personality: Reserved but warms up once he builds trust

About: Meet Russell! 🕺🕺

Applications are now open for Russell, a mature gentleman who loves a good conversation and dance. Though we don’t know his exact age Russell is a happy guy with a passion for destroying boxes and pinecones. While he can’t be handled, he’s made progress in learning to trust for head scratches—just on his terms for exactly 32.76 seconds at a time! Russell needs someone patient who is happy to interact with him without cuddles. He would benefit from a sheltered space, either indoors or on an enclosed patio. If you can figure out what he’s trying to say, let us know!

BOY GEORGE

Species: Galah

Age: Unknown (more senior than junior)

Gender: Unknown

Personality: Chatterbox who loves a dance

About: Meet Boy George, a charming galah with a flair for conversation and dance! Boy George loves to chat and has a playful side when it comes to dancing. Currently, he’s sharing an enclosure with Russel (another senior Galah – see above profile). While they get along well, they are not bonded, so they can be adopted separately or as a duo. As an aviary bird, Boy George can be a bit bitey with handling, so he’s best suited to a larger aviary where he can feel comfortable and have space to explore. If you’re interested in adding this lively feathered friend to your family, please reach out for more information.
