COCKY

Species: Sulphur Crested Cockatoo

Age: Approx. 55 years old

Gender: Male

Personality:  Friendly character, loves attention and interaction

About: Meet Cocky – a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo who is approximately 55–60 years old. He has been with the same family for the past 20 years and has been an important part of the household and daily life. Due to a change in circumstances, they need to find him a new place to call home.

Cocky is a friendly character who enjoys attention and interaction. He has a talent for mimicking noises such as dogs, sirens, and squeaky doors, and also speaks a few phrases. While he is affectionate, he can be a little nippy when being put into his cage. For over 20 years he has mainly bonded with one person in the family, though he is comfortable with others feeding and caring for him.

He requires a varied diet of seed, fruit and veggies. Cocky loves talking to people and other birds and thrives on being part of the action.

This beautiful bird is now looking for a special family who understands the unique needs of cockatoos and can offer him the patience, care, and love he deserves. He would best suit an aviary set up where he has plenty of space, within an experienced home where he can be welcomed as a cherished family member and continue to live out his golden years surrounded by companionship and attention.

KIKI

Species: Eclectus

Age: Approx. 5 years old

Gender: Female

Personality:  Full of personality and a real food connoisseur

About: Meet Kiki – a stunning female Eclectus, soon to celebrate her 5th birthday in November. Full of personality with just the right touch of sass, she’s ready to find a home that can keep up with her needs and quirks.

Friendly and social, Kiki enjoys sitting on a shoulder and will sometimes lean in for a neck scratch. She loves water, showers, and basking in the sunshine. Food is her true passion (the way to her heart is definitely through her stomach) and she has a reputation as a little “soup chef” when it comes to her meals.

Kiki can fly and she occasionally talks, though she’s more known for her opinions than her words. She has a unique right foot with a few missing toes, so she requires adaptable perching and a feeding platform, but this doesn’t hold her back from getting around confidently.

Her current owner loves her dearly, but recognises that Kiki’s needs have outgrown what they can provide. Kiki would thrive in a home with other birds and would especially enjoy the company of a male Eclectus to bond with. She needs an experienced carer who understands parrots and Eclectus, with the time, enrichment, and resources to ensure she continues to flourish.

An aviary set-up would be ideal, and her feeding platform can be provided as part of her rehome. A small outdoor aviary may also be available if helpful.

ARNIE

Species: Indian Ringneck

Age: Approx. 3 years old

Gender: Male

Personality:  Gently and loving with a big personality

About: Meet Arnie – a 3-year-old blue Indian Ringneck with a huge personality and a gentle, loving nature. He’s one of the friendliest birds you’ll ever meet and absolutely thrives on being part of daily life. Arnie loves hanging out with his people, chatting away, and soaking up attention.

He’s super talkative, with a growing vocabulary that includes phrases like “good boy” and “are you pretty?”, and he’ll happily keep you entertained with his chatter. When he doesn’t get enough interaction, Arnie can be a little noisy, which is his way of asking to come out and be with you.

Arnie has been around children, other birds, and animals and has done wonderfully. He especially adores budgies and could make a great companion if you already have feathered friends. While he’s always had his own cage, he’s enjoyed plenty of supervised backyard flights with his Galah and budgie housemates.

This sweet boy deserves a home where he’ll have daily out-of-cage time, toys that keep his clever mind engaged, and plenty of human interaction. His favourite treat is kiwi fruit, which he’ll happily devour with enthusiasm.

Arnie will suit an active home with someone experienced, patient, and ready to spend time with him every day. He’ll reward you with affection, entertainment, and endless chatter.

QUAILS

Species: Quails x6

Age: Approx. 6 months old

Gender: Males

Personality:  Gorgeous flock of quails

About: We have 13 sweet 15-week-old Japanese quails looking for new homes. They’re young, full of personality, and would thrive in the right environment.

At the moment, they’re with a temporary carer, but this isn’t a long-term solution, so we’re hoping to find them permanent homes as soon as possible. They’ll do best when paired with females, and being so young, there’s plenty of potential for them to become more tame with regular handling.

If you can offer a safe and caring home, please get in touch – we’d love to see these little ones find their forever places.

PICO & NACHO

Species: Conures

Age: Approx. 2 and 1.5 years old

Gender: Male & Female

Personality:  Inseparable duo, vibrant and chatty

About: Meet Pico the pineapple green-cheek conure (2 years) and Nacho the sun conure (1.5 years) are a vibrant pair looking for their forever home together.

These two have formed a close bond and spend most of their time side by side. Pico was once very people-focused, but since Nacho joined the family she has become more interested in his company and can be a little distant with humans. She occasionally gets nippy, particularly if hands get too close, but she is happy to spend time watching the world go by with Nacho at her side.

Nacho, on the other hand, is a clever and engaging boy who loves to be around people. True to his sun conure nature, he can be loud when he wants attention, but he makes up for it with his affectionate and playful personality. He has even worked out how to open simple cage doors, so he will need a secure setup to keep him safe.

Together, Pico and Nacho enjoy exploring outside their cage, sitting on heads, solving puzzle feeders, and spending time in an aviary when the weather is right. They love their daily vegetable chop (with favourites like beetroot, peas, carrot, and broccoli) alongside pellets, seed mix, and the occasional treat of sunflower seeds, nuts, or almonds.

Pico and Nacho are both healthy, active, and full of energy. They will thrive best with an experienced carer who can provide them with plenty of enrichment, attention, and safe space to fly and play. They currently share a cage but also enjoy the sunshine and stimulation of an outdoor aviary.

This colourful duo come with very different personalities. Pico is the more independent observer and Nacho the affectionate social butterfly, but together they make a wonderful pair who will bring vibrancy and character into their new home.

BORIS

Species: Sulphur Crested Cockatoo

Age: Approx. 1 years old

Gender: Male

Personality:  Young and full of life

About: Meet Boris – a young sulphur-crested cockatoo, around 1 year old, who is full of life and looking for the right home to help him grow into his potential.

True to his species, Boris is intelligent, spirited, and selective in who he bonds with. He is still learning about the world and can squawk loudly or puff up his wings when he feels unsure or threatened. With patience and consistency, he will benefit from gentle training and positive experiences to help him build confidence.

Boris enjoys spending his days in the sunshine and thrives on stimulation, interaction, and enrichment. His diet consists of parrot mix, pellets, and fruit, and he is in good health, having had a recent vet check just two months ago.

He is currently okay around humans, other birds, and animals, but as with most cockatoos, he will do best in an environment where his boundaries are respected, and his carers understand the unique needs of this intelligent species.

Boris will suit an experienced home, ideally with an aviary setup or a safe mix of indoor and outdoor space where he can stretch his wings, enjoy the sun, and receive the time and attention he deserves.

CHEETO

Species: Conure

Age: Approx. 6 months old

Gender: Unknown

Personality:  Charming cuddle-bug

About: Meet Cheeto – a young green cheek conure, around six months old, with all the charm and spirit you would expect from a playful parrot of his age.

Cheeto is a true cuddlebug. He (we think he’s a boy, but unsure) adores scritches, loves having his pin feathers preened, and is happiest perched on your shoulder for hours at a time. He has a heart of gold and quickly wins people over with his affectionate and playful nature.

Still very much a baby, Cheeto thrives on enrichment and interaction. He enjoys shredding toys, playing with foot toys, hanging upside down from swings, and exploring his environment. His favourite foods include broccoli, snow peas, apples, raspberries, and dried papaya. He also enjoys cracking open unshelled nuts, which keeps him entertained and stimulated.

Cheeto needs a home that can offer him plenty of out-of-cage time, at least four hours each day, to fly, play, and interact. He enjoys being outside in a secure cage, feeling the breeze on his feathers, and soaking up sunshine. He is not recall trained or comfortable in a harness, so he will need safe indoor free-flight opportunities.

At times, Cheeto can be noisy when under-stimulated or hungry, and like many young conures, he occasionally gives playful nibbles. These are gentle and part of his curious, fun-loving nature. With patience, enrichment, and plenty of attention, he is an absolute delight to share a home with.

Cheeto would be best suited to an experienced owner in an active environment, with both a large indoor cage and ideally an outdoor cage for fresh air and sunshine. He is healthy, with no known medical issues.

If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate, and playful companion who will bring both energy and love into your home, Cheeto might just be your perfect match.

WILLOW & NOODLE

Species: Cockatiels

Age: Approx. 6 years old

Gender: Males

Personality:  Social + affectionate companions

About: Meet Willow & Noodle – an inseparable cockatiel duo who have spent their whole lives together. At six years old, they are a delightful mix of affection, playfulness, and quirky charm.

Willow, a handsome grey cockatiel with a sunny yellow face, is the ultimate snuggle companion. He adores head scritches, cuddles, and being close to his people, often perched happily on a shoulder or quietly trying to “share” your snacks. Gentle by nature, Willow is well-handled and affectionate, making him a lovely friend to spend time with.

Noodle, white with soft grey markings, is the entertainer of the pair. He loves to whistle (yes, including the wolf whistle), dance in front of mirrors, and bop along to a good beat. While not a fan of head scritches, he enjoys kisses, time with his humans, and grooming your hair from his favourite perch on your shoulder. Noodle can be a little more independent than Willow and likes his personal space respected, but when he is in the mood for company, he is delightful.

These two enjoy plenty of out-of-cage time, at least 1–2 hours daily, and are happiest in a safe indoor space where they can stretch their wings. Their ideal home will be calm and steady without large or high-energy pets. They would suit an environment with gentle handling and a patient approach.

Willow and Noodle are in good health, fully vet-checked, and both enjoy a varied diet of seeds, crumble, fresh vegetables, and the occasional treat of sunflower seeds or millet (their absolute favourites). They love the occasional mist bath and a sunny spot to relax in.

PEPPER & PEARL

Species: Cockatiel

Age: Unknown

Gender: Unknown

Personality:  Two peas in a pod

About: Meet Pepper and Pearl – Gorgeous pair of bonded cockatiels, ready to find their forever home together.

Pepper & Pearl are deeply bonded and do everything side by side, eating, preening, playing, and perching. They love to sing and chatter, filling the space around them with gentle, cheerful sounds.

Their companionship is sweet to watch, and their harmony extends to their daily routines.

They would suit a home with a spacious large cage they can share, or an aviary-style setup that allows room to stretch their wings and take in the sights and sounds of the day.

These two are not hand-tame but are calm-natured and a joy to be around. They thrive with gentle care and would make a lovely addition to a peaceful and patient home.

NILES

Species: Budgie

Age: 4 years old

Gender: Male

Personality:  Friendly, social + chatty

About: Meet Niles – a 4-year-old male budgie with soft blue and white feathers and striking dark markings. Friendly, tame, and full of personality, Niles has been hand-raised and is used to being part of the daily rhythm of home life.

He spends most of his day outside his cage, perching on shoulders, exploring, chirping along to whistled tunes, and occasionally helping himself to toast. He loves company and interaction, and is especially affectionate when he feels safe, often falling asleep on a shoulder or snuggling under a chin.

Niles is in good health and eats a varied diet of seeds, fresh vegetables, fruit, and the occasional boiled egg. His favourites include spinach, celery leaves, orange, and anything you’re having for breakfast.

He’s been around children, other budgies, and household activity. While generally very gentle, he may give a small nibble if startled, but this is rare and easily avoided with calm handling.

Niles would thrive in a home with indoor space to fly, daily interaction, and ideally a budgie companion. His carers are sadly rehoming him due to an overseas move and hope to find someone who will give him the care, freedom, and affection he’s used to.

SIGMA

Species: Galah

Age: Unknown

Gender: Unknown

Personality: Semi-tame

About: Meet Sigma, a wonderful rescue galah who has formed a strong bond during his (we think) time in care. Sigma is semi-tame and previously domesticated, but still needs a patient and experienced owner who understands the unique needs of galahs.

Sigma thrives with plenty of flight time, mental stimulation, and enrichment to stay happy and healthy. A large flight aviary is essential, giving him space to stretch his wings and explore safely.

Sigma is affectionate in his own way, enjoying pats, gentle kisses, and perching on shoulders while watching the world around him.

If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this beautiful bird, and have the time, space, and experience to meet his needs, Sigma could be the perfect addition to your family.

JACKIE & OLLIE

Species: Green-Cheeked Conure

Age: 12

Gender: Male and Female

Personality: Bonded Duo

About: Jackie and Ollie are a loving, 12-year-old pair of Green-Cheeked Conures who are looking for their forever home. They are a bonded couple, and it’s essential that they stay together as they share a deep connection.

Both birds are friendly and hand-raised, so they enjoy spending time with people and will fly onto your shoulder to relax with you. They are not yet accustomed to stepping up, but with patience and trust, they will learn to feel more comfortable over time.

Jackie is full of personality and loves to dance, although she’s not a fan of head scratches (she may warm up to them with time). Ollie is a bit more relaxed and enjoys a good scratch when wrapped in a towel, though he isn’t much of a mimic.

One thing that’s important to note is that both Jackie and Ollie need the freedom to fly within a room. They previously had daily flight time outside their cage, which helped them thrive. Without this space, Ollie has started chewing his feathers due to stress, but with the chance to fly again, he should regain his feathers after his next molt.

They are both vocal but not overly noisy, with cute chirps when it’s bedtime. Jackie and Ollie love their morning routine, enjoying fresh fruit and veggies, along with an almond or pecan to start the day. They also love grooming each other and can often be found cuddling up together.

Jackie laid an egg in December 2024, so she requires calcium supplements to maintain her health.

These two are looking for a home where they can have plenty of open cage time, free flight, and a patient owner who can continue building their trust. They are a delightful pair with so much love to give, and we know they’ll make wonderful companions.

If you’re ready to open your home to Jackie and Ollie, we’d love to hear from you!

BONITA & RIO

Species: Lovebirds

Age: Unknown

Gender: Female & Male (suspected)

Personality: Two peas in a pod

About: Rio and Bonita are two lovebirds that are inseparable! Their close bond is evident in everything they do, from exploring new spaces together to cuddling up for a rest. These playful cuties enjoy flying and would thrive in a home where they have plenty of space to spread their wings – ideally, some indoor flight time each day, in addition to a spacious cage.

While they adore each other, Rio and Bonita are also comfortable around familiar people and may even land on your head when they’re feeling social! With more interaction, patience, and gentle contact, this bond with humans could grow even stronger. Having previously been office companions, they may be a great match for someone who spends time working from home and is looking for some feathered friends to keep them company.

As with many lovebirds, Rio and Bonita will nest, so they will need a home where their nesting instincts can be managed, such as using egg replacement when they’re in season. If you think you can offer Bonita & Rio a happy home where they can live together, we’d love to hear from you!

OPAL

Species: Fantail pigeon

Age: Unknown

Gender: Unknown

Personality: Gentle and friendly

About: This stunning white Fantail pigeon is a gentle soul in search of a loving forever home. As a rescue bird, we don’t have much background information, but their calm and graceful nature speaks for itself.

This pigeon would thrive in an aviary with plenty of flying space to stretch their elegant wings and enjoy a peaceful life. Fantail pigeons like this make wonderful companions and bring beauty and charm to any home or aviary setup.
